Characteristics of Carbon Steel Tanker Trailer
Tanker trailers are semi trailers with tank structure as the loading method. They are mainly used to transport liquid, bulk materials and bulk cement. Tanker trailer series consist of oil tank trailer, concrete mixer trailer, powder and bulk cement tanker trailer, water tanker trailer, etc.
The tank body is usually manufactured through three-dimensional design and advanced processing technology. The chassis is made of various specialized chassis from manufacturers with advanced technology and reliable performance.
Carbon steel tanker trailers can load, unload, and transport very efficiently, and therefore, the safety and quality of transported goods is ensured, and requirement for labor is reduced. Furthermore, packaging materials are saved and transportation cost is lowered.
How Carbon Steel Tanker Trailers Are Categorized
According to the goods that Carbon steel tanker trailers transport, they can be categorized into liquid, powder, and gas tankers.
Liquid tankers normally transport fuel, lubricating oil, acid, alkali, water, food and beverage, and so on.
Powder tankers transport cement, flour, stone powder, grain, beans, granular plastics and other granular items.
Gas tankers can transport nitrogen, argon, petroleum gas, etc.
Carbon steel tanker trailers can also be categorized according to tank pressure.
Low-pressure tankers usually transport water and light fuel. The internal pressure of low-pressure tankers is generally below 0.09mpa.
Medium-pressure tankers are mainly filled with caustic soda, asphalt and so on. Their tank internal pressure is generally 0.147 – 0.294mpa.
High-pressure tankers have the internal tank pressure of 1.77 – 3.532mpa.
