General Introduction of 5000 Gallon Stainless Steel Tanker Trailer
Stainless steel tankers are usually used to haul hazardous chemical liquids. Besides stainless steel tanker trailers, carbon steel tanker trailers and aluminum tanker trailers are also widely used for this purpose.
Stainless steel tankers are divided into a few categories according to the content of goods they carry as below:
Oil tankers, which include mobile tankers, computer tax-controlled tankers, oil transportation tankers, aircraft tankers, and edible oil tankers.
Transportation and storage of petroleum derivatives such as gasoline, diesel, crude oil, lubricating oil, coal tar, and other oil products
Depending on different purposes and environments trailers are used for: refueling tanker trailers and transportation tanker trailers, which have the functionalities of oil absorption, oil pumping, and oil distributing.
The oil tanker trailer is composed of tank body, power take-off, transmission shaft, gear oil pump, pipe network system, etc. The tank net system is composed of four position three-way ball valve, through ball valve, filter screen and pipeline.
Multiple compartments: the tank can be divided into multiple compartments evenly or however the customers may require.
Technologies of Stainless Steel Tanker Trailer
European Standard System
European standard system is short for European technical standard type approval of vehicle products, also known as the bottom filling system or OPW system. It is composed of submarine valve, European standard manhole cover, and oil and gas recovery system. The oil and gas recovery system includes oil and gas recovery valve, oil and gas recovery joint, oil unloading valve, anti-overflow probe rod, and anti-overflow socket.
Submarine valve, also known as emergency shut-off valve, is installed at the bottom of the tank. It is the main valve between the tank pipes. In case of an accident of the oil tank due to rollover, the vehicle body pipeline and the tank will automatically pop open, while the submarine valve will remain sealed and the liquid in the tank will not overflow. The primary purpose of such system is to ensure safety. The oil and gas recovery valve is a device for oil and gas recovery during loading and unloading. It can be directly installed on the tank on top of the oil tanker trailer to avoid oil and gas overflow.
Oil and Gas Recovery Joint
Oil and gas recovery joint is a closed circulation system composed of oil and gas recovery system of tanker trailer, which can effectively recover oil and gas generated during loading and unloading liquid into the tank, avoiding any diffusion of oil and gas.
Lower Loading Port
Lower loading port, also known as oil unloading valve (API valve), is installed under the oil tanker trailer for rapid oil unloading to avoid any diffusion of oil and gas.
Anti-overflow Probe Rod and Socket
Anti-overflow probe rod and socket is a safety device to prevent oil overflow and will alarm in advance after liquid is filled. It is installed on the manhole cover on the bottom of the tank. When the oil level reaches the warning line, the sensor will automatically alarm and cut off flow.
European Standard Tank Opening
The European standard tank opening, also known as the European standard manhole cover, is installed on the top of the oil tank with built-in breather valve and emergency exhaust function.
Static Conducting Wire Coil
Static conducting wire coil is installed on tanker trailers transporting hazardous chemicals to prevent static electricity generated during loading and unloading of flammable, explosive and other hazardous goods, which may result fire and explosion accidents.
Automatic Closing System
Automatic closing system of submarine valve is a device that automatically closes the emergency shut-off valve when the vehicle speed is greater than 5km per hour.
